## 5th Grade Math Worksheets Geometry

Learn how you can stop the dreaded Summer Math Loss and send your child back to school in September feeling like a math super hero! Watch this free video training!
5th grade math worksheets are immediately available here to print. All these geometry worksheets are designed according to Washington State Grade Level Expectations for the 5th.

5th grades geometry emphasis is on triangles and quadrilaterals.  Your fifth grader must be able to identify the different types, calculate the area and perimeter with ease, and have the ability to identify the other polygons, that are not being studied in detail.

The use of the cartesian coordinate system is continued from 4th grade, with the introduction of coordinates as decimals and negative numbers.

A good understanding of numbers and operations is essential here.

You don't want your child to struggle with geometry, because they don't understand the concept of different types of numbers.
