3rd Grade Math Worksheets
Geometry

3rd grade math worksheets should be fun and creative, and geometry should be no different.

Good worksheets should inspire your third grader to want to explore more about a subject area, even on their own!

Geometry in second grade is sparse, as huge concentration is place upon different areas of math.  But third grade is different.  Geometry is kicked up a notch.  Geometry construction is worked on in detail with lines.  Intersecting lines, line segments, perpendicular and parallel lines!

As well as recognition, your child must be able to sketch these.

Right angled triangles and Quadrilaterals are explored in detail, and calculating the perimeters of quadrilaterals.  Also both single and multi-step word problems involving the perimeters of quadrilaterals are introduced.

Whew!  Now that is different to second grade
