Unequal: Not equal.

Uniform cross section: When the cross section of a solid results in the same size at its base.

Vertex: The point where sides or surfaces meet to make a corner.

Vertical: At right angles to the horizon, or the x-axis on the Cartesian plane. In the image, the telephone poles are vertical.

Vertically Opposite: Directly opposite.

Volume: The capacity (measured in cubic units) of a three dimensional object.
